This Privacy Policy explains how ListAnything ("we", "us"), currently operated by its founder pending the formation of a dedicated legal entity, collects and uses your information when you use listanything.app.

Note on entity. ListAnything is currently operated by its founder pending the registration of a dedicated legal entity. The "data controller" named in this policy will be updated to that entity once registration is complete. Existing users will be notified of the change in writing.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data — email address, and, if you sign in with Google, your name and avatar.
  • Listing & interaction data — the listings, descriptions, links, upvotes and comments you submit.
  • Purchase data — order details processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Usage & technical data — IP address, device/browser info, and basic analytics needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the directory, authentication, submissions, and paid features.
  • To process payments and provide support.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to prevent abuse and spam.
  • To send service-related communications.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We share data only as needed with providers that help us run the Service:

  • Supabase — authentication and database.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, delivery, and security.
  • Anthropic — AI classification of submitted URLs (content you submit for listing).
  • Dodo Payments — payment processing and merchant-of-record services (dodopayments.com).

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (Supabase session). We do not use them to sell your data.

5. Legal bases & your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@listanything.app. You can delete your account, which removes your profile, listings, votes, and comments.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Purchase records may be retained for tax/accounting.

7. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
